In AlgeBreak: A Mega Fun Math Obby, players must stop wicked hacker HexElla and foil her diabolical plans. Players must break into HexElla's lair, solve algebra puzzles, and conquer some truly evil obbies (spinning platforms, lava spikes, and more sinister surprises).

Learning in AlgeBreak is integral to gameplay. Players graph functions on room-sized grids, cross treacherous platforms by stepping only on numbers that are part of a set, disable lasers by finding their point of intersection, and ascend precarious obby chambers while hacking consoles, all in an effort to access HexElla's servers and shut them down.

While primarily geared towards high school students learning algebra, AlgeBreak can be enjoyed by a wide array of players, including those who want to brush up on their algebra skills!
This project is particularly meaningful to me, as it was the first Roblox game that I worked on, and it's one that I had the opportunity to develop its high-level concept and guide its creative direction. I was also responsible for writing and updating the game design document, designing the core game mechanics, balancing gameplay, and assisting with QA testing the game.
